none of you mentioned.
it is a totally new company set up by sembcorp marine. Actually it can be called R&D department of the group of sembcorp.
Definately the loaction is not in the central area.
last month ,we already got the right person, but unfortunately something happened to his family, so he couldn't join our company. that's why we look for another guy to take over his position

Definitely I can understand Chinese as I am from China.
It is my windows problem, I can’t type Chinese characters. that is why I write in English.

English just a tool, it is nothing. Pls don't mis-understand.

You are right , we can not find the right person in Singapore. In Singapore University, there is no major about Naval Architecture.
I think it is good chance for some guy want get some experience about basic design of offshore structures.
what you do will be different so much as the shipyards job.

If you guys feel you are the right person we are looking for and wanna go abroad, pls email your CV to me

It is quite clear now. Your new R&D Company is slightly likes R&D institute, but R&D institute is mostly facing the theories, and your R&D Company is facing the productions/technical probabilities.

One of my friends is interesting in this position. He let me ask you some questions following:

1) He is graduated from MSc of Offshore Engineering of NTU, whether will you consider him?

2) What is the range of the budget? And whether the bonus and other benefits are same as the headquarter of Sembcorp Marine?

3) The working place is in the new building besides the main gate of Sembawang shipyard. Is it?

but both ntu and nus have specialization in offshore engineering under civil engineering... sometimes i really wonder why these companies even dun know about it... and regarding to the master degree, i hv to say, all top students of my school went into industry rather than pursuing higher degree.
