Shanghai Branch office within a leading shipping group companies, handling cha
rtering brokerage and commercial management activities; with international pre
sence; we are seeking to employ a chartering broker:

Job description:
- Handle chartering brokerage transactions on voyage/TCT/TC or bareboat charte
ring;
- Maintains close liaison and good relationship with owners, charterers, trade
rs globally;
- Identifies opportunities in drycargo market which could be developed into pr
ofit opportunities of fixture;
- Performs analysis, identifieds and evaluates alternative chartering strategi
es for clients on voyage basis or TC basis or bareboat chartering;
- Provide market intelligence; update industry changes to management or client
s on a regular basis;
- Ensure charterer party terms are negotiated in the most favorite way and con
sistent with applicable terms and conditions of the clients;
- Be able to work as independent broker within a team and when required by coo
peration with different departments of the group
- Take postfixture for ships of third party owners when ships came to our comm
ercial management
- Adheres to all current maritime policies and procedures;

Requirement:
- Minimum 2 years experience in a ship owner company in chartering position or
a shipbroker house with essential fixture records of any type of ships;
- detailed ship operation knowledge is required when apply for commercial mana
gement based shipbroker position;
- integrated, easygoing and good team player;
- strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- excellent in English and Mandarin both in writing and speaking;
- good office and computer skills;
- ability to work under pressure and long hours;
- willing to involve in with group other marine business coordination besides
chartering brokerage activities as well;

of ferro products/fertilizer/sugar/projects/ro-ros, also considered
