The SVITZER purpose is to provide safety and support at sea. With our fleet renewal and expansion program we have a number of new tugs on order to be built in Qingdao.
We are now looking for an Electrical Supervisor as owner’s representative based in SVITZER Qingdao Newbuilding Site Office..
The Electrical Supervisor will report to the Newbuilding Project Manager, the Supervisor’s responsibilities include:
1.
To familiarize with newbuilding specifications for all on-going projects
2.
To familiarize with all class and flag state requirements of all on-going projects and keep up to date with new regulations.
3.
To check related technical agreements that the yard have made with vendors are complying with specifications and requirement
4.
To check related drawings are complying with specifications and requirements
5.
To perform on-site inspections as necessary to ensure quality of workmanship and the tugs are built according to approved drawings
6.
To attend tests and trials as required during the newbuilding process.
And we require qualities as below
1.
Must have shipbuilding experience for a foreign owners 2.
Must be English speaking 3.
Must have an understanding of Lloyd's rules 4.
